My Immortal (Band Version) by Evanescence. Damn I've been following Evanescence's music before their Fallen days, and they've become such a damn good band with Amy Lee's lyrical supremecy and vocals. If you are gonna spend 12 dollars today, buy Fallen - Evanescence. "Ignorance is a bliss." Fuck yeah it is. One of the greatest things in the world I have come to discover. The only way to completely ignore something is to never have known about it. It reminds me of a Stephen Crane peom which had something that went, "I have found the light, now let me back into the darkness." Close to that anyways. Discovery, we crave for it, we live for it, we progress through it and yet, what we discover may never buttress our constant expectation for greatness. Its like a smear on our dreams. Slowly, the world's troubles walk into the light, no longer hidden by our own ignorance. And with those troubles comes the constant call for assistance, for panacea, something that is utterly impossible. Here's the kicker, we can't go back, we can only cope. Tourniquet - Evanescence Scotty Doesn't Know - Lustra (From Eurotrip, hella funny movie, 9/10.) This Love - Maroon 5 (The MV kicks ass, cause it has sakura blossoms.) Well, me out.
